The difference a weekend of caulking made in my kitchen is unreal

I bought my house 3 years ago and always hated how the backsplash looked kinda cheap and unfinished. Last weekend I finally got around to taking a full tube of white caulk and going over every single gap between the tile and the counter. It took about 6 hours total because I had to scrape out all the old crumbly stuff first. The change from dirty dark lines to clean white ones makes the whole kitchen look $2000 more expensive. Has anyone else noticed how much a simple caulk refresh changes the whole feel of a room?

Isn't it crazy how something so small can make such a huge difference? I did the exact same thing in my bathroom last month and it made the whole space feel cleaner and more put together. It's honestly one of those cheap fixes that really pays off in how the room looks.

Right? I did the same thing in my kitchen and it totally changed how I feel about the whole room. Sometimes the little details are all it takes.
