I was dead wrong about peel-and-stick tile
Thought it was just cheap rental stuff until I put it in my laundry room last fall. Still holding up fine after a year with no peeling at all. Anyone else had good luck with the stuff long term?

Isn't a year still kinda short to call it long term?

My neighbor's been telling me for three years he's gonna fix his fence "next month" and it's still leaning like the Tower of Pisa. That's the thing with calling something long term anymore, even a full year feels like a stretch when half the country can't commit to a dinner reservation next Tuesday. People use "long term" for stuff like a cell phone contract that's barely long enough for the phone to stop feeling new. I see it all the time in my line of work too, clients want a quick fix that'll hold for six months and call it a permanent solution. Really makes you wonder what happened to thinking in years instead of just seasons.
