That time I tried to build a monitor stand from scratch on a Sunday
Spent last weekend at my desk in Austin trying to make a wooden monitor stand from a 2x4. Took me 3 hours to cut it level because my circular saw hates me. Ended up cracking the wood when I screwed it together. Is there a foolproof way to cut straight without a table saw?

Maybe just get a guide clamp for your circular saw, they're like 20 bucks.
