The $2 silicone muffin tray changed my roasting game completely
I used to hand-stir beans in a cast iron pan and always scorched the edges, then I tried one of those flexible muffin trays as a make-shift cooling bed after roasting. Spread the beans out on it right off the heat and they cooled evenly in about 4 minutes, no more baked-on bitter spots. Anyone else using weird baking gear instead of actual coffee parts to fix their process?
