My brother in law said to just use a drill bit on my portafilter basket, and now my shots are a mess
He swore drilling out the holes would speed up my pulls, so I went at my spare basket with a 1/16 bit last weekend and now every shot channels like crazy. I should have just bought the right basket for $22 instead of trusting a guy who doesn't even own a scale. Anyone else get burned by a confident tip from a family member who talks a big game about espresso?
