Warning: swapped my 12 volt drill for a corded one on the deck job and the difference was not close
Burned through three batteries framing the joists on my sister's place outside Tacoma before I grabbed my old corded Milwaukee, and that thing just never quit, so has anyone else gone back to corded for the big stuff?
Cordless tech has come a long way though... my newer brushless stuff keeps up with my old corded saws just fine, and I'm not dragging an extension cord around the whole site. Sounds more like those three batteries were tired or the drill was undersized for framing, not that corded is just better.
