Rant: a guy at the Rockler counter told me pocket screws are cheating, and now I'm second guessing my whole garage build
I was picking up a $9 pack of Kreg screws and he said real joinery means no visible hardware, but I've built 3 shop carts in a month with pocket holes and they're rock solid. So is furniture with pocket screws a real build or am I cutting corners? Curious what you all think cause my next project is a workbench and I don't want to mess it up.
