Blew $180 on a used tile saw at a garage sale and it cut worse than my $30 manual scorer
Everyone in the DIY groups swears you need a wet saw for any real tile job, so I grabbed a used 7 inch one at a garage sale in Tucson for $180 and set up my first bathroom floor. The blade wobbled so bad it chipped half my 12x12 porcelain and I ended up cutting the rest by hand with a $30 score and snap tool, which worked fine. Am I the only one who thinks the fancy saw thing is overblown for simple square rooms, or did I just buy a junk saw?
