The day a squirrel tried to steal my 10mm socket
I was working on a 6.7 Powerstroke in a customer's driveway in Portland last week, and I left my socket tray on the ground for a minute. I turn around and a squirrel is sitting there, trying to pick up my 10mm with its little paws. It actually got it a few inches off the tray before it dropped it and ran off. I spent the next half hour looking for that socket in the bushes. Has anyone else had a wild animal mess with their tools?

Had a raccoon try to make off with a spark plug once... little bandit. Ended up putting all the small parts in my closed toolbox right away after that. Learned to never leave anything shiny or interesting out in the open, even for a second. Those critters see it as free treasure.
