Stopped at a truck stop outside Amarillo and saw a guy checking injector lash with a feeler gauge in the parking lot
I pulled into a TA off I-40 west of Amarillo last Tuesday and there was a guy with the hood up on an old 12 valve, feeler gauges out, doing injector lash settings right there by the fuel island. He told me he does it every 100k and carries the gauges in the glovebox so he never has to book shop time for it. How many of you actually keep up with injector lash on your own rig, or do you just pay somebody?
