Just hit 500 hours on my new scan tool and the data is a bit scary

I was checking the logs on my Snap-on Zeus after a long day on a 2020 Freightliner. The hour counter hit 500 exactly. I pulled up the fault history summary and it showed 47% of the codes logged in the last month were for the same DEF heater circuit. That's a huge jump from the usual 10-15% spread. It makes me think we're about to see a wave of these failing right out of warranty. Has anyone else noticed a pattern like this with newer Cascadias?

Yeah, that DEF heater circuit is a known weak spot on those. I've already replaced three this year on trucks with around 60k miles. The connector pins seem to get brittle and the whole harness needs a close look, not just the heater itself. What's the actual code number you're seeing most often?

You mentioned the connector pins getting brittle. Has anyone checked if road salt or chemical de-icer is wicking up the wiring loom from below? I saw a truck where the spray was getting past a worn flap in the wheel well, creeping right up the harness. It was causing corrosion you couldn't see without pulling back the wrap. That would explain failures in similar mileage trucks from the same region.
