Spotted my neighbor's router still on factory settings yesterday

Walked past his window and saw the sticker with the default WiFi password still on the side. I knocked and asked if he'd changed it, he said why bother since he lives alone. Took me 20 minutes to show him how someone on the street could log into his network and see his smart lock traffic. Has anyone else tried explaining this to family or neighbors?

My own wifi password is "password123" so I just nodded and walked away.
