Unpopular opinion: my landlord's son left greasy handprints on all 4 of my window screens, and I'm the weird one for counting
I rent a duplex in Akron and my landlord's 27 year old son has a key "for emergencies," which so far means letting himself in to use my hose and leaving greasy handprints on all 4 of my window screens last Tuesday while I was at work. I only caught it because I count things when I'm stressed, so 4 screens, 9 prints, and one screen popped clean out of the frame and got left on the grass like it was nothing. Am I wrong for wanting to swap the locks myself and eat the cost, or is there a way to get a key back from a guy who clearly isn't giving it up?
