The ring camera angle that finally caught my neighbor's 3am ritual

I kept seeing these weird flashes of light from across the fence around 3am, but my camera never picked up anything. Then I realized I had it pointing too high, aimed at the tree line instead of the actual yard. After I dropped the angle down 15 degrees and moved it closer to the fence corner, I caught him out there every night for a week walking in circles with a flashlight and a shovel. I mean, it's probably harmless, but the footage is genuinely unsettling. Turns out a lot of people mount their cameras too high for full yard coverage, so if you're trying to document weird neighbor stuff, check your blind spots first. Has anyone else had a similar false start with camera placement before you finally got the evidence?
