I got 11 hang up calls in 6 nights, then I set up a $24 camera and realized the difference between guessing and knowing
For 6 nights straight my phone rang once around 2am from a blocked number and nobody talked when I picked up. I was sure it was the guy in 4B who I'd had a parking fight with, and I nearly knocked on his door about it. Then I put a cheap $24 wifi camera in my window facing the lot, and it caught a different story entirely: a guy in a hoodie standing at the payphone by the laundromat on Vernon Ave, not even looking at my building. Six nights of filming, same guy, same time, and my phone rang 4 of those nights. So the guessing version of me had a whole speech ready for 4B, and the camera version of me just had footage of a stranger. The difference was about $24 and one night of setup, which is way less than an apology would have cost me. Has anyone else used a cheap camera and found out the weird stuff was coming from somewhere totally different than they thought?
