Serious question, I swore off fishing in Stardew until I mapped the bubbles on paper
I kept losing fish in Stardew Valley because I was reacting to the bar instead of reading the cast, and I told myself the whole minigame was just luck. Last weekend I sat down with a notebook, logged 40 casts at the mountain lake, and drew where the bubble rings showed up. Turns out I was casting 3 tiles too far out the whole time, and landing the bar on the edge fixed maybe 80 percent of my misses. It took about 2 hours to figure out what I could have learned in 10 if I had just slowed down and watched the water. Is there a lake or river spot where you all had to fix one small habit before the fish stopped getting away?
