My cousin swore by planting turnips on day 3 in Stardew, and it tanked my entire first spring
He told me at Thanksgiving that turnips are the 'hidden money maker' for early game, so I dropped every last gold I had on 40 of them, and by the time they grew the pixel rain had flooded my tiny farm screen with weeds that ate half my crop, so has anyone else gotten burned by a well-meaning relative's cozy game tip, or am I just bad at pixel farming?
