Guy at the game store in Tulsa said farming sims are boring, and I think he missed the whole point
I was in a GameStop in Tulsa two weeks ago and overheard a guy tell his friend that Stardew Valley is just watering plants for fake money. I get why people think that, since there is no timer or score or leaderboard pushing you forward. But for me that slow pace is the whole thing, not a flaw to fix. I put in 90 hours over winter just fixing up my farm and talking to the same 6 townsfolk. Does anyone else play cozy games for the quiet parts instead of the goals?
