Appreciation post: A salon in Austin showed me a better way to mix bleach
I was helping out at a friend's shop there for a week, and saw their colorist use a small plastic bowl from a dollar store. She said it was easier to clean than the metal ones we all use, and the bleach didn't dry out as fast. I tried it back home and now my mixes are smoother and I waste less product. Has anyone else switched up their mixing tools with good results?

The beauty industry spends a fortune on fancy tools and the real secret is a dollar store bowl. It's kind of perfect, the cheap fix always works better. We've all been overthinking this for years.
