This one detail about the moon landing keeps getting twisted in every debate I see
In my experience, people keep saying the flag was waving in the wind on the moon, which proves it was fake. But that's not what the video shows at all. The flag moves because the astronauts are twisting the pole into the ground, and in a vacuum with no air, it keeps moving for a bit from the momentum. I watched the original NASA footage frame by frame last month, and you can see the movement stops completely after a few seconds. It matters because this is the most common 'proof' thrown around, and if the basic facts are wrong, the whole argument falls apart. How do you even have a real debate when one side is correcting a simple mistake over and over? Has anyone else found a good way to explain this without getting stuck in a loop?

Honestly who even cares anymore. The flag thing feels like a distraction from actual space news. People will believe what they want regardless of a few seconds of video.
