The finisher in Amarillo who told me to skip the retarder on small pours
Back when I was 2 years in, this old finisher named Ray told me to leave the retarder out of anything under 4 yards on hot days. I thought he was nuts but tried it on a 3 yard driveway apron last July in Amarillo and the cream set up just right for finishing. Been doing it that way since, though I still keep a jug in the truck for the big ones. Curious what you all do for small pours when it's pushing 100 out.
