Foreman swore by wet curing, my slabs prove him wrong

My site super in Tulsa kept saying wet burlap for 7 days was the only way, so I followed it on a 40 yard pour last Tuesday and got hairline cracks anyway. He then blamed my mix slump, but I checked the ticket and it was 4 inches flat. Anyone else have a boss whose old school method just doesn't hold up on big flatwork?
