Passed the community center and saw they're teaching kids to code instead of basic hardware fixes.

Back in the day, we'd help folks with virus scans and part swaps at those free clinics. Now the focus is on software, which is cool but idk, maybe we're losing some core skills. How have your local tech help spots changed over the years?

Worry we're creating a whole generation that sees a computer as just a magic box for apps. If the screen breaks or the fan dies, will they just toss it because they never learned to open the case? What happens when the magic box stops working
