The day our only pipe cutter walked off and we had 6 people waiting on a Tuesday
Back in 2019 our little tool library in Kalamazoo had maybe 40 members and one pipe cutter that folks actually fought over. Somebody borrowed it on a Tuesday and never brought it back, so when 6 people showed up that weekend for a plumbing workshop we had nothing to hand them. We started writing names on a clipboard after that and never lost another tool, but I still wonder how many groups just give up when one thing goes missing.
