Am I the only one who thought a tool library was just free rentals? Took me 3 visits to get it
I showed up at the Norwood Tool Library on Montgomery Road thinking I'd just grab a tile saw for my bathroom job and be done. The volunteer, Marcus, made me sit through a 20 minute safety walkthrough and then asked what I was actually building, which annoyed me at the time. Turns out he saved me from buying a $180 wet saw I'd use once, and he set me up with their tile cutter plus a guy named Ray who came by my place to help me lay the first row. Anyone else get talked out of a purchase by a library volunteer?
