TIL my own allergy meds were causing the brain fog I asked about

Last month I kept asking the pharmacist in Cedar Rapids why I felt so out of it, turns out antihistamines do that if you take them daily for 6 years. I switched to a nasal rinse instead of a pill and the fog lifted in about 4 days. Anyone else ever find their fix was the thing making things worse?

My friend Deb had the same thing happen with her allergy pills, she thought she was getting early dementia until she stopped them. Crazy how something meant to help you can mess with your head like that.
