Paid $180 for a new drysuit zipper and it failed on dive 3 in Port Angeles
The shop swore the replacement was top grade but the zipper split again mid-decent on a 90 foot hull job, so now I'm wondering if anyone else has had luck with the cheaper DIY zipper kits instead of paying shops for the same result?

Damn, that's rough, but honestly the DIY kits are way more hit or miss so you probably just got unlucky with the shop.
