My first dive helmet is a relic compared to today's gear

I pulled out my old brass helmet from storage and it felt like holding history. Modern helmets with voice comms and cameras are LIGHTYEARS ahead in comfort and function. What's one piece of equipment that's changed the MOST for you over your career?

My first wetsuit feels like a rubber torture device next to modern ones.

Remember trying to get my first wetsuit on. It was like wrestling a giant, angry rubber band. I'd be sweating and swearing for twenty minutes just to get the zipper up halfway. The neck seal felt like it was trying to choke me out before I even hit the water. @williams.diana is right, those old suits were pure punishment. My current one feels like a second skin compared to that.
