Hot take: I stopped tying off my umbilical to the rail and started clipping it to my harness D-ring instead
Last month on a dock job in Gulfport I kept snagging my line on the same bolt every time I turned, and the tender was getting tired of feeding me slack. I moved the clip to my harness D-ring so the line trails behind me, and I made it through a 3 hour inspection without one snag. Anyone else run theirs this way or am I asking for trouble on deeper work?
