TIL the comic shop in my town has a whole wall of fan art for trade

I went to The Panel Page over on 4th Street yesterday to pick up my pull list. Right by the register, they've got this big corkboard that's covered in drawings people brought in. The owner told me it started with one kid leaving a Spider-Man sketch last month, and now there are like 50 pieces up there. You can take one if you leave one of your own. Isn't that a cool way for fans to share their work? Has your local shop ever done something like this?

That "cool way for fans to share" sounds messy to me. Our local shop tried it and the board just became a wall of bad tracing and anime doodles. Cluttered up the whole front counter. Felt more like a daycare art project wall than a comic shop. They took it down after a month.
