Unpopular opinion: I called freeCodeCamp a waste of time 2 years ago, and now I eat my words
Back in 2023 I brushed off freeCodeCamp as just another free site that couldn't teach real coding, mainly because I'd already bounced off 3 paid bootcamp trials and felt burned. Then a coworker in Austin walked me through the responsive web design cert over two weekends, and the hands-on projects finally made loops and CSS click for me in a way tutorials never did. Did anyone else come around on a free resource like this, or am I the last one to admit I was wrong?

Ha, the free part was never the problem, it's the projects.
