Showerthought: A single offset error wrecked my day on the mill
Last week on the Haas mill, I was running a batch of aluminum brackets. I set up the program but completely missed updating the tool offset after swapping drill bits. The drill plunged way too deep and scrapped the part, lol. We had to stop production and fix it, which wasted a bunch of time. It really hit me how one small oversight can mess up everything in CNC work. Now I have a habit of double-checking all offsets before any run. This mistake showed me that paying attention to details is key. It's like how a typo can ruin a document, you know?

Scary how fast that happens...

Watching my niece go from toddler to teenager in what feels like months, @logan_dixon18, honestly freaks me out. Tbh, I remember her first steps like it was yesterday. Now she's talking about college and driving. Ngl, it makes my head spin how fast time flies. One day you're buying diapers, the next you're helping with homework. Scary stuff for real.

Man, I used to think people were just being dramatic about time flying. Then my neighbor's kid, who I swear was just learning to ride a bike, asked me for advice on his resume last week. Totally get what @morgan.abby is saying. You blink and they're borrowing your car, talking about moving out. It's a real gut punch. Makes you want to slow the whole thing down.
