Coolant line burst mid-cycle and I found a temp fix

Was running a long batch when the coolant hose split open, soaking the floor. The clamp had rusted and the rubber was cracked. I quickly wrapped the split with electrical tape to stop the spray. It held long enough to finish the job before I replaced the hose.

Ever hear about the guy who used a bike tire patch kit on a fuel line? My friend did that on a camping trip when his truck's line cracked, and it actually held for the whole drive home. Some of these quick fixes are way stronger than you'd think.

That's the kind of fix that gets you home or gets you on the news. Fuel lines aren't meant for bike tire glue, but hey, it worked. Just don't try it twice unless you're feeling lucky.
