PSA: I spent $19 on a mug repair kit and it turned my favorite chipped mug into a sticky mess
Two months ago I bought a food safe ceramic glue kit off a craft site to fix the big chip on my 2016 vacation mug, and it oozed everywhere and dried cloudy yellow. Now the chip is sealed shut but the mug looks worse than before and I can't get the goop off without scratching the glaze. Has anyone actually saved a chipped mug with something that works, or should I just drink around the chip like a normal weirdo?
