Just realized my cracked camping mug beat my fancy ceramic one and I'm never going back
Two summers ago at a campsite near Bend I had to pick between my $40 handmade ceramic mug and a $3 enamel one with a cracked rim I got at a thrift shop. I picked the cheap cracked one and it survived 11 trips plus a drop on granite, while the fancy one chipped just sitting in my cabinet. The crack actually keeps my coffee warm longer because it lets a little steam out slow instead of all at once. My buddy still gives me grief about drinking from it. Anyone else got a beat up mug that outlasted the nice ones?
