My trusty brush snapped inside a narrow flue yesterday.
Retrieving it took hours and I'm considering switching to more flexible tools.

Oh, that's brutal! I snapped a cheap brush in a chimney once and spent all afternoon fishing it out. Now I only use those flexible fiberglass rods for tight spots. They bend around corners and won't break like stiff ones. Saved me from so many headaches on tricky jobs. Seriously, make the switch and never look back!

My uncle swears by those fiberglass rods for his old chimneys. He says they bend around uneven brick without catching, which cuts cleanup time in half.
