Watched a guy at the Portland flea market strip a whole skillet with a fire pit and a leaf blower
Stopped by the flea market off SE Foster in Portland last month and some guy had a booth full of rusty skillets. He tossed one in a fire pit, hit it with a leaf blower for maybe 90 seconds, and all the old gunk just flaked right off. He wanted $8 for the pan once it cooled and I kicked myself for not grabbing two. Has anyone tried the fire pit thing at home or is that just asking for a warped pan?
