Had an old lady tear up when I installed her bedroom carpet last month because it matched her late husband's favorite shirt

She found a scrap of the fabric in his closet and asked if I could match it, and when I pulled out the exact color from my truck she just stood there crying and said he would've loved it, has anyone else had a customer get emotional over something like that?

so my buddy rick does flooring too and he told me about this one time he was laying tile in this old couple's kitchen and the husband kept going on about how his wife loved this one pattern they saw in a magazine like 20 years ago. rick happened to have a leftover box of that exact tile from some hotel job and the wife just broke down when she saw it, said she thought she'd never have it. apparently the husband had been trying to find it for years and it was like this whole emotional payoff moment. rick said he felt weird just standing there watching them hug over floor tiles lol.
