A plumber told me my knee kicker was the problem, not the carpet seam

Last Tuesday I was ripping out a nasty berber in a condo near Clearwater and the plumber was there fixing a leaky toilet. He watches me stretch for a bit and goes, 'You know your right knee is gonna blow out by 45, right? I switched to a power stretcher full time after my second surgery.' I laughed it off, but later that night my knee was sore and I started counting how many times a day I actually use the knee kicker. It hit me that I've been treating my body like it's disposable for 9 years now. Has anyone else switched to a different stretching method after a chat like that, or am I just getting old and paranoid?

Actually a knee kicker isn't for stretching carpet seams, that's what a seam roller is for...
