Went back to a classic framing square after 3 weeks with a digital one
Picked up one of those digital angle finders for a deck job in Allentown. Figured it would speed things up. Spent more time fighting the battery and recalibrating than actually cutting. Swapped back to my old trusty framing square on Tuesday, and the joints line up better already. Has anyone else found the old tools just work better on rough lumber, or am I just set in my ways?
