My miter saw cut 3 degrees off on a $400 maple countertop and I caught it just in time
I was trimming the last end grain piece in my garage in Boise when the offcut looked off, so I checked the blade with my Starrett square and found the detent plate had slipped from banging it around in the truck, and I reset it, recut the piece, and it fit clean, but has anyone else had their detent plate drift from hauling the saw around?
