Made every bit of patience worth it" is so real. I heard some manager on a podcast saying most promotions get locked in way before they're announced, so all that waiting time is actually them sorting the paperwork and budget. Makes the stretch feel even longer, lol. My buddy in sales waited like five months from his talk with the boss to the actual title change and pay bump. So yeah, that call must have felt amazing to finally get.

Actually makes sense how much waiting happens in any big system, like waiting for a passport or a loan approval. Feels like life's just full of those hidden processing times.
