Started cutting flap doors with scissors and ruined 4 boxes before I figured out the score-and-fold trick
I was trying to cut clean door openings for my kid's fort in the garage and the scissors kept crushing the corrugated edge, so the flaps looked chewed up on every box. A guy at the hardware store on Route 9 told me to score the line with a utility knife first, then fold it back and forth a few times until it snaps clean. Took me about 15 minutes to redo the whole front wall and it looks way better. Does anyone else score before cutting, or am I just late to this?
