TIL canceling my gym class led me to read a parking ticket fine print
Last Tuesday my spin class got canceled 20 minutes before start. I was already downtown so I grabbed coffee and sat on a bench. Noticed a parking ticket stuck under a windshield wiper nearby. The fine for paying 10 minutes late was $45, but if you contest it online within 5 days they drop it to $15. I looked up the city code on my phone and it's buried in section 7.2. Has anyone else found weird leniency rules just by reading the back of a ticket?

$45 down to $15 just for contesting online? That is a wild gap for something buried in the fine print.
