My Friday board game night died off over 5 weeks and I can't figure out which side to blame
Back in March we had 9 regulars showing up at my place in Fresno every Friday, and by mid April it was down to 3 of us sitting around a half empty table. The group that bailed says I made it too serious when I started tracking wins on a whiteboard, but the ones who stayed say everyone else just got lazy about showing up. So which is it, am I the guy who ruined a good thing with a scoreboard, or did they just need an excuse to stop coming? Curious how other folks here handle it when a standing hangout slowly bleeds out instead of dying all at once.
