My $90 camp stove outshined the $300 jetboil someone loaned me
A buddy swore by his Jetboil for years, so I tested it against my old $90 Coleman burner from 2019 at a site outside Asheville. The Jetboil boiled faster by maybe 2 minutes, but mine simmered actual food without scorching, and the fuel canister lasted 3 extra dinners. Idk, I think the hype is mostly about weight, not cooking quality. Anyone else stick with clunkier gear and feel fine about it?
