Can we talk about the zipper blowout on my tent at 11pm in Rocky Mountain National Park
Third night at the Moraine Park campground, temp dropped to 34 and my tent door zipper split right down the middle while I was crawling in. I sat there with a headlamp and a paperclip for 20 minutes before I remembered the paracord in my stake bag, so I wrapped it around the two sliders and pulled them tight to close the gap. It held for two more nights. Now I want a real fix for the worn teeth, has anyone tried replacing a zipper slider yourself or is that a send-it-back-to-the-maker job?
