Tried a new bit on my drill and snapped it in 10 minutes flat
Picked up a Milwaukee carbide tipped bit for the siding on this new build in Raleigh and it ate through the first two holes fine but then locked up on the third and twisted clean off. Cost me 18 bucks for that bit and now I'm back to using the cheap steel ones that last longer. What bits are you guys actually running for HardiePlank?

18 bucks for a single bit? What brand was it exactly, or did you grab it from a big box store?
