Saw a crew in Phoenix using that new fiber fusion splicer yesterday

They were running 48 strands in like 20 minutes and i couldn't believe how clean the splices looked on the OTDR. Has anyone else tried one of those newer fully automatic splicers or are yall still on the old manual ones?

Heard from a buddy over at Commscope that those new Fujikuras are game changers for big builds, way less rework on the OTDR traces.

Buddy swore by those Fujikuras on the last job. I finally tried one and only melted half the splice tray. Guess that's an upgrade for me.
