Ran a 100 ft drop through an attic in July without a fish tape and my pull string trick actually worked

Tied a plastic bag to the end of a mason line and sucked it through with the shop vac, done in 10 minutes flat. Has anyone else ditched the tape for vacuum pulls on long runs, or am I late to this?
